As a naïve first-time adventurer (pg.2) who grew up in a small village, he lives a simple life by practicing various jobs and entertaining himself by playing board games. However, one day, he is suddenly summoned by Fate, and he hears a mysterious message about a grim future (pg.4). Facing this unforeseen turn of events, he finally becomes an adventurer (pg.3) and embarks on a journey to the Lands Between, which he never imagined in his life (pg.8).
This is the background story to the new fantasy action RPG, “Elden Ring”, developed by Acquire and published by Acquire Corporation.
This game is being developed for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, and will be released worldwide this fall.
Speaking of the characters in the game, one of the characters on the cover page is voiced by Hisashi “Kaneko” Suzuki, who had previously voiced the characters in “Toukiden: The Battle of Mibu” (for the PS3) and “Touken Ranbu” (for the PS Vita).
The story revolves around two brothers, who as first-time adventurers venture to the vast Lands Between with the hope of protecting someone dear to them.
“Elden Ring” is known for its unique online feature that allows the player to synchronize the asynchronous and complementary online games that makes them feel the presence of those who are gaming with them.
