The physical damage of the sample is evaluated by comparing the predicted stress and strain field to those from published experimental data. With the full map of temperature distribution, it is possible to predict the local damage within the polystyrene sample. The distributions of stress and strain are in good agreement with the published experimental data. I&#8217;m now also trying to switch to a different log file, based on user input.
