\nPlanestate is a configurable 3d screensaver that allows you to blend a large number of the sixteen different kind of plane animations. Each animation has unique speed and rotation speeds that can be set by the user. Planestate features are:

\n\uffed Orbiting animation effect that is a perfect combination of a plane animation with a rotating rings effect.
\n\uffed Triangles image, each time when a triangle comes near any of the planes then it will catch on the plane. If you hold down the left mouse button a preview image will show with a marker where the triangle is, then drag the image and place it on the corner of the plane so when you release the mouse button the image will catch on the corner of the plane! This is done in real time and it will work with any planes.
\n\uffed Sky and ground can be position under or outside any animation and blend together for a seamless animation.

\nPlanestate is an electrostatic pattern generator. You can use it as a screensaver.
\nBecause the generator is hardware based, it will be much faster than programs like “Electropainter” or “Terakpaint” which need to be loaded to the computer memory. Planestate also saves all its graphics data in a file. It runs a lot faster than software based programs because it doesn’t need to load all its data into computer memory every time.
\nPlanestate allows you to put 3D tiled planes in your computer screen and see how they move. You can use the various settings in Planestate to set them move and rotate to create and alter patterns.
\nPlanestate is quite easy to use. You have a Configuration menu where you can play with the various settings.
\nYou select a background (in the Configuration menu) and then play with the settings in the configuration screen to set a range of planes to rotate and act.
\nAlpha blended planes can be assigned four different colors (or blended) points. This can create many patterns ranging from fast rotating hypnotic hypnotic patterns, to relaxing patterns with muted colors, to calming patterns with sepia tones to restful patterns with bluish color balance.
\nYou can also set the planes to rotate or act in a circular manner. This gives the effect of a spinning fog.
\nAll planes are texture mapped and you can select which plane is a texture mapped plane. This can be used to change the moving plane’s color. The more colors you use the more layers of planes you will be able to use. Planestate can use up to 32 planes.
\nPlanestate will use a technique called alpha blending to blend the various colors in the layers, and give you a realistic looking result.
\nPlanes can be offset from one another. You can rotate planes clockwise or counter clockwise. The planes can also be stretched or shrunk.
\nPlanestate can turn planes left and right in a circular manner. This gives a hovering or in case of rotating planes a spinning effect.
\nYou can set planes to act in a cyclic manner. This will act as a layer generator which will mean that when the cyclic mode ends, a new cyclic layer will generate based on the configuration you chose.
\nThe cyclic mode is very useful if you need to create a changing pattern that is layered.
