Code, \u00a7 11378) and possession of cocaine (Health &amp; Saf. Code, \u00a7 11350). He moved for suppression of all evidence derived from the controlled purchase of drugs from him by a police officer. The evidence was offered to establish his intent to sell drugs and the police officer&#8217;s ability to identify him.<br \/>\nThe officer testified that when he made the purchase from Lamb he was wearing a ski mask, and had bandanas over his and his partner&#8217;s eyes, and he carried a semiautomatic 9-millimeter pistol. The officer also testified that a few days before the purchase Lamb told him he had an easy drug connection, and gave him a telephone number.<br \/>\nLamb did not testify in the trial court. The prosecutor argued to the court that Lamb&#8217;s remark indicated that Lamb was a dealer in drugs.
