Moreover, other protease inhibitors, including cysteine protease inhibitor, iodoacetamide, aspartic protease inhibitors, Z-Asp-CH2Cl, and Z-Tyr-CH2Cl, were all ineffective against ZIY-NO2-H. On the other hand, all of these inhibitors, as well as leupeptin, prevented ZIY-NO2-H-induced apoptotic morphological changes in the KB-V1 cells.
