The problem appears when a mysql connection is being closed from a process running under the apache user with the’sudo’ user role.
\nThe connection is being closed via mysql_close(), and it appears that mysql_close() fails and returns false.
\nUnfortunately, php simply throws the warning mentioned above.
\nAt the moment, I’ve only found a way to get this warning fixed is by accessing the mysql_close()’s argument and setting it to true. This causes the connection to be closed properly, but breaks the code, as the closing is handled in a different php file.
