Im looking for a “hint” on how to re-direct from one page to another after opening a file in TYPO3 (on the detail page of a content item). Maybe with the extension “T3Api”. <\/p>\n
I have read that by adding <\/p>\n
pagename.html<\/p>\n
to the page-config.html of a extension, it would redirect me to my default homepage. But with files.html I dont know how to handle this or what to put in there.

What you describe is not redirecting, it is simulating re-direct. A redirect is a redirection provided by a web server, which means the response is sent from one page to another.

You are correct. This is only part of it. This could also be done in a module, in a plugin, or in backend (config.yaml or EXT:myext\/config.yaml), but you have to use the redirectTo param.<\/p>\n
