FIFA is the video game industry standard, and does a lot of things right, but in my opinion it still lacks in certain areas. For instance, real football teams have created rosters to combine talent with experience, and in order to balance out various ratings, there should be a certain number of players with the ratings of each position. With this system, you can make your team more powerful by creating a team roster with lower ratings, and if the opponent team has a higher rated one, that will only make your chances of success decrease.<\/p>\n

For example, you can create a team with a mid-level rating striker with low defensive or midfield ratings, which should result in a potentially lower ranked team, and thus the odds of winning are less in your favor. However, I don\u2019t feel that\u2019s much of a problem, because if I had the finances, I probably wouldn\u2019t even field a team in FIFA. I\u2019m just one of many FIFA players that don\u2019t spend a dime on the game, so I don\u2019t really find it that relevant.<\/p>\n

So what are some of my other complaints with FIFA? Well, there are two complaints I\u2019d like to go over.<\/p>\n

1) It\u2019s too easy to score<\/p>\n

The funny thing is, I enjoy the game and I have to say that it\u2019s playable. But what I mean by easy is that it\u2019s very easy to score if you get the ball in the box. If you run at the goal, the goalkeeper will be standing right in the middle of the goal, and there will be only two guys trying to defend the goal. Even if the defense is reduced because of man marking, one of those defenders will be in front of the goal, and that gives you the chance to score. This makes me feel that it\u2019s pointless to spend hours (and in some cases days) of gameplay defending for your opponents, as when the ball is at the top, inside the box, they can score in a second, thus making it impossible to defend against.<\/p>\n

Although the game\u2019s goalkeepers aren\u2019t bad, but they also aren\u2019t the quickest in the game, nor are they the best at ball-handling. So when the ball is at the top, it\u2019s an easy shot to connect with, and even if the defense doesn\u2019t break, the goalie isn\u2019<\/p>\n
