The community is full of people who hated Titan Quest and PC gaming as a whole. If I like Titan Quest I’m going to be a very unhappy person, there’s no doubt about that, but I’m trying to be a very positive person on this forum (only 4 negative posts, 1 of them was a prequel I’ve never played). I like the game, yes it’s flawed, but even so it’s quite good, I can enjoy it without being offended by anything. It has full speech models (I tested this months ago). You can see the faces of every NPC. No one likes how hard this battle system is (though it’s perfectly balanced and fair, the move-trees are simply really hard to use). NPCs won’t notice you if you hear them, you must stop at their desks to talk with them. There are a lot of things that are broken, everything is unfair, the battles are terribly hard, the townsfolk are horribly underwritten, not to mention the bad AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

If you have the power of the Ring and a large sword, the game will grant you the powers to take down higher-level enemies. That’s the main reason I wanted the game.\nThe game is very much like a Final Fantasy party game. Your party is formed as you choose which stats you want your character to have and then you have a range of weapons and magic that you use based on how well you did in the previous battle and what these enemies are.\nThis system is very linear, but that was part of what drew me in. I looked forward to going down the path of the story I was following, seeing what happened next. Because you have to destroy the enemy’s equipment to advance, you have to constantly be looking ahead so that you don’t encounter a particularly difficult part of the story while exploring areas that you can get through by wasting your time on exploration. It’s a fun system.\nWhile you are fighting the monsters, there will be glowing power orbs, which can be used to gain more stats. If you raise some of your stats to 100 and then feed some of the power to the other stats, the game will reward you.\nSo basically, you are given a quest in a fantasy world full of awesome and well-designed areas that seem to get higher and higher as you advance. You can choose any weapons to fight with at any time, so you can always customize your party the way you like, letting you combat whatever enemy you are facing, wherever you are in the game.\nThe storyline of the game is cute, so I really like it so far. And the graphics are also very well-designed, a bit cartoony, but I like that too.
