    \n Bored with some overly stiff JRPGs, I decided to try a game that’s a combination of things I like: action\/RPG, story, etc. I downloaded Elden Ring about a week ago and figured I would just look over the basic story mode and see how I liked it (after all, the full version is over $20 on the PSN). After getting pretty far into it, I realized that I liked it… a lot. It has a nice atmosphere and a pretty awesome music track. It’s also got some really cool features that they’re making use of, such as shooting blue arrows\/energy beams from your bow and breaking objects using your shield. I definitely plan on playing this full. I’ve got my hands on the cell phone, so I can easily play it at home while doing other things. I don’t care about multi-player either, because that’s a hassle to play and I don’t have any friends that play this, so I prefer to just play online. A couple of things I didn’t care for: It’s not terribly exciting. I’ve played longer RPGs before, and Elden Ring just doesn’t get my adrenaline pumping. The audio was a bit annoying; I would expect an RPG that I paid for to have good quality audio, but Elden Ring’s music is incredibly repetitive and annoying. I know it’s a first person game, but there are times when the first person camera gets annoying… So there’s not a whole lot more to say about this game. It’s decent and mostly what I expected from the demo, so it’s worth downloading if you’re looking for an action\/RPG.<\/p>\n
