    The exploration is great, with an eye for the strange and interesting, such as weird monsters, otherworldly ruins, and all the hidden items one can possibly pick up (and those items of course also unlock more exotic items once you’re lucky enough to find them).<\/p>\n

    It’s a little bit like the Elder Scrolls series in that sense.<\/p>\n

    The characters have interesting backgrounds, and there are plenty of them, too.<\/p>\n

    Each character also has its own special attack you can use.<\/p>\n

    There’s a lot of customization, though don’t expect a huge amount of it; the development team clearly had its limits.<\/p>\n

    The story unfolds in a series of episodes, with each one taking place in a different geographical location.<\/p>\n

    I can’t quite put my finger on it, but this seems a little bit like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, only with a more Japanese flavor and an even more overt Christianity and nature.<\/p>\n

    You’ll also need to be mindful of your character’s thoughts, which are very much influenced by the environment, and your character can’t really think them, but sees them.<\/p>\n
