I am running Windows 2000 OS. I installed Microsoft XML 3.0 x32. Do I need to check for DLL cacheing? The DLL is registered.

I’m having a problem with qbiz and QlikView (v3.0) I’m getting the following error when I run the application: There are a lot of posts on the Qlik Community but no solutions. See the error below: “The download of the specified resource has failed.”
The DLL cacheing is disabled on client and server machines (which are vista 32bit). The QlikView installer is also in the same folder as the DLL (same physical directory).

The problem can be solved by replacing the DLL. May be the system time is not synchronized or maybe the DLL cache is corrupt.
When you get this error you should not try to download the missing DLL.

Q:

Why does “src/app/routes.ts” generate this?

In my src/app/routes.ts file, I see a lot of code similar to the following (I know I’m missing some importation lines, but I’m not sure what else is missing. This is the full file.
I don’t understand how/why some code is inserted into the generated routes.ts file.
For example, the lines below are generated when I run “ng g app my-app”:
export const Routes: Routes = [
{

The answer of Louis Iot-Wallon says “msxml3.dll: The download of the specified resource has failed.” but that does not help me. I have tried what he said and still I have the error.

A:

This is a security feature. Not all browsers will allow you to download a remote file via XMLHttpRequest, but Internet Explorer (IE) does.
XMLHttpRequest is the object you use to download remote content. It isn’t designed to be used to download the file; it’s designed to request data from the server, including headers and POST data. The download is a separate process that doesn’t rely on XMLHttpRequest.
To circumvent this, use a library that does allow you to download a file. I use jQuery’s $.get method to download files. Using the jQuery $.get method you can provide a file to download as the third argument.
