However, Oblivion is not available on the PC DVD, but there is a patch (and you can download it for free) that makes this work (on the PC game box there is a button to “repair disc”). The Oblivion Install CD was ‘virgin’ and was in brilliant condition – not scratched or anything like that.

I need to stop this from happening.. I’ve tried several different methods, but I get something like. Not sure why, but this is the best solution: I just have to play the game (which is a stupid solution.). There’s a “fix” for this on the Xbox 360 (search for it on the Xbox 360 Support site), but I found it only worked in the Retail version.. I think you can turn off the “collectibles” if you won’t be using the 3D Model but I don’t know how.. I did a complete backup of my HD, and I made sure to backup all of my discs, and isom files.
