I’m struggling to find any sort of function or event that is triggered by Google when a specific HTTPS page is loaded. When a HTTPS page is loaded I want to run some JavaScript to redirect the user to the https version of the site.
There are a bunch of articles on the official Google site about interacting with the CSE but I can’t find anything about a redirection event.
From reading the official documentation about managing the ‘on-site content’ I am using the CSE to capture the details of when HTTPS versions of pages load and then make some sort of decision about how to handle the users in the following situations:
The page is already HTTPS and the new page is also loaded but doesn’t go to HTTPS (might be a case of just repeating the page so it is still on HTTPS)
The page is NOT HTTPS (should redirect to the HTTPS version)
From the articles I’ve read about the CSE I would assume that there is a click event that is fired when the user clicks on a link that is in the page. That event could be used to trigger a redirection.
But I can’t find any kind of event or function that would allow me to catch this event. There’s nothing about that here:
