Aztec Reader SDK is a professional and reliable SDK designed for reading Aztec barcodes. The SDK package includes the following components:

Installation:
1. Unzip the archive to the desired location.
2. Run AztecReader.bat from the start directory of the archive.
3. Wait until the server is ready.
4. Check the result by using AztecReaderViewer.exe -v.
This latest release of Aztec Reader SDK 6.3.9 contains following bugfixes:
Fixed behavior in the barcode reading interface to barcode images with
alpha transparency (alpha channel of the bitmap). In this case the barcode
image must be created using DWrite method with alphaTransparency parameter.

Bugfix in the AztecReaderAdd method. The code was not always capable of adding the new AztecReader instance to the global list of instances.
Bugfix in the BarcodeDetector class. The exception that was raised when trying to read a freeform barcode with a fix width and height is no longer raised.
Bugfix in the DragEventHandler class. The drag&drop event handler should be able to
detect the source of the drop and this is implemented correctly.
Bugfix in the ErrorMessage property of the Exception object that
is raised when an unrecoverable error occurs during reading a barcode.

The SDK package includes the source code of the
AztecReader SDK. The SDK is written in C++ using C++ template libraries.
If you have a C++ compiler on your computer, you can compile this
library into a DLL by using Visual Studio or any other C++
IDE. After compiling, the SDK will be ready to use.
AztecReader SDK must be built to a specific version of Windows.
This is because the dynamic-linked library installed in Windows
is dependent of the version of Windows.
If you use the new version of Windows, the AztecReader SDK is updated
also. In order to have the same APIs working on the new version of Windows,
the SDK must be recompiled for a specific version of Windows.
