Time to write code/skew
I’m new to the method of writing code and am wondering what this thing called a “Time to Code” is. I’ve heard people refer to it a lot, but I’ve never been able to get a clear definition of it. I’ve read about people, including myself, “skewing” a code block to write less and still get the job done. I just want to know how this is being recorded, how it’s being measured and how to actually get a time to code report. All the references I’ve read say you can get a report on the “Time to Code” at the end of the day, but never mention how to actually get the report.

We measure this here at work.
The count of lines of code modified on a given day.
The count of comments modified on a given day.
The amount of code that is eliminated by refactoring.
The amount of code that is eliminated by eliminating duplicated code.
The length of time to close to completion.
It’s interesting how much time we are all willing to spend on a given block of code, while what is gained from these measurements is constantly debatable.
One day the changes may be so minimal that these measurements mean very little, while the next day there is a large savings due to refactoring or eliminating duplicated code.
One thing I can say is that the least amount of work we do is the most effective, because the code is kept updated with the latest language features and any new technologies are put to use immediately.

Elden Ring is a highly anticipated Fantasy Action RPG for the Steam and mobile devices. It was created by the minds of an indie team and releases for PC and mobile devices on April 16th, 2017 for $0.99. The game was made available as Early Access on July 29th, 2016 and reached its full release on May 14th, 2017.
Story
Eluding the grasp of the Elven Mages, the Orc King has fled to the Lands Between with the remnant of the Elden Ring. They have now fallen into the hands of the unknown monsters and beasts which inhabit the Lands Between, and must gather the new members of the Elden Ring to stand against them.
Gameplay
Elden Ring is a Fantasy Action RPG which places you in the role of a charismatic and determined hero who’s on a quest to become an Elden Lord.
In order to finish the quest the main character must master the materials found in the world to create new items in the game. The materials can be found in the world or purchased from the store. By combining the materials to create the item, a high level is achieved allowing the materials to be used to create another item.
The game is played online using a local network for online play. However, in order to have the entire battle experience, you need to be online to have your turn battle as oppose to watching someone else do it. You can compete locally against friends, other online players and also receive new game characters with player progression. The person who is online can see your actions and your actions can be seen by the other players.

About 200,000 people have been killed since fighting broke out in December 2003, and more than two million have been displaced, according to the UN.
The violence has triggered a cholera epidemic and led to the worst famine in the country since 1998, when the UN says as many as two million people died.
The 26 people who have been helped so far are young, with an average age of 19 years old, the spokesman said.
It is not clear where those who have been rescued are from, but the Foreign Ministry is trying to help them with their families, he said.
The medical teams were to be comprised of 33 people — 17 medical personnel, a nurse, eight emergency medical technicians and three chaplains and social workers, he said.
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is concerned about their safety as they head to the site, he added.
And the team will be entirely unarmed — just as it was last time the American teams went into the Congo, in 2001.
