I’ll try to explain below why I was so addicted to this game.
First, the game world is unique. I could have never imagined that this world would be so extraordinary and interesting.
The “The Lands Between” is a world that is connected by invisible line to the real world. This is the essence of the series, but I’d like to emphasize that the world and all the main aspects of the game were completely different.
Though I don’t see a good word to describe the perspective and the idea at once, I think that the game takes the perspective of a normal person who lives in the Lands Between.
There is no separation of the death in the game world. A man who dies in the Lands Between starts to exist in the real world. Once he’s discovered by other players, he will be born and live in the real world.
Second, the character of the hero and his various actions. This title makes the most fundamental idea of the strategy RPG a reality in the game world. This is the game that combines the elements of strategy and RPG, and thus the world of the game is fascinating because you can choose which kind of character you want to be.
Third, the RPG element. In the game world, there are various quests such as “deliver the girl” and “defeat the enemies”. There are no numbers and signs like in the real RPG, but it is a unique RPG with a sensuous mechanism.
The battle system allows battles to be performed in a sensuous and beautiful manner. The camera control is also a very unique part of the game.
Fourth, the story. Though the story is not very intense, it is a story that can be smoothly enjoyed by the player.
Fifth, the replay value. In the Lands Between, there are various words and scenes that are better if you play it more than once. Every time you play, new unexpected things come.
The battle system is the most important ingredient, but the replay value is also important.

Post a commentCity officials have identified several key projects they would like to accomplish on the downtown Trail and streetscaping improvements. And they’d like your input on what you think should be prioritized.
On Aug. 12 the Cumberland City Council will hear public input in a pre-meeting workshop about the priorities to address, consider and potentially implement in the next year, and more.
The public meeting will include a presentation about the city’s “Bridging the Downtown Bridge” plan and a walking tour highlighting the historic districts. It will also include a question-and-answer session with the public and a discussion on suggestions for further improvement to the downtown Trail and surrounding areas.
The city council voted in January to provide $250,000 for capital improvements along the downtown Trail. The money comes from Cumberland’s summer concert arena parking/paving subsidy.
The city has been conducting a series of focus groups, working groups and studies to determine the priorities for improvements and considered many ideas in reviewing the Bridging the Downtown Bridge plan.
Bridging the Downtown Bridge was developed by the Cumberland Downtown Development Authority and includes a list of initiatives to be implemented over the next 12 months. The plan focuses on the downtown Trail, pedestrian access, sidewalks, streetscaping and downtown streetscape.
The city will receive advice about prioritization from the planning, development and economic development boards.
The focus groups, which began in late summer and included more than 500 people, produced 17 action items and five priorities, with the first priority being the downtown Streetscape including sidewalks, streetscaping, landscaping and signs. Next was streetscape along the downtown Trail, including sidewalks, signage, trees and storm drains, followed by bicycle infrastructure.
