In the game, you take on the role of a mercenary named Tarnish, summoned to the realm of the Lands Between in a bid to prevent a civil war that has been brewing. The Lands Between are the realm between our world and another world inhabited by evil creatures. The creature hunters you trust, known as the Elden, have found Elden Lords in the Lands Between and are hoping that you will help them fight the Elden Lords and return them to the home they desire. While on your quest to return the Elden Lords to the Elden, you have to complete different scenarios and experience a wide variety of situations.
PLAY WITH COMPLICATIONS.
As Tarnish, you can fight using the Irou no Gagetsu, a magic attack that lets you deal magic damage to multiple enemies, or other special attacks. Your work, however, is not complete until you earn money, so you will need to make alliances with people to get money, train your allies, and go to the places of the Lands Between to meet people. Tarnish is a mercenary who commands a strong army. You can use your army to support your allies in battle or to assist the Allied Armies in battle. This makes the game, in part, a strategic RPG.
BUILD YOUR CHARACTER.
Depending on your decisions, your character will develop over the course of the story. You can choose from three character classes (Warrior, Mage, and Archer) and six paths (Creator, Swordmaster, Assassin, Warrior, and Mage). Each path determines your character’s preferred weapon (sword, spear, crossbow, etc.), armor, skills, and starting parameters.
